Domestic auto sales in China will likely have anemic growth over the next three years. Consumer willingness to spend on automobiles will remain downbeat at least into next year. Yet, Chinese auto exports have been booming. Structurally speaking, Chinese automakers are set to gain a larger share of the global market despite a rise in protectionism.
